FACILITIES

Four warehouses comprising 14,864 square metres or 160,000 square feet can be utilized to protect weather sensitive cargoes and the large outdoor storage areas permit the allowance of generous free time provisions.

Mortem has a very large lay-down area – more than 70 acres of outside storage compounds.  These gravelled storage areas are ideal for the accumulation of large quantities of hot rolled steel coil, beams and plate as well as for the marshalling of bulky wind turbine components.

EQUIPMENT

Morterm has a sizeable fleet of material handling equipment ranging from warehouse fork trucks to large (up to 90,000 pound capacity), steel handling lift trucks.  On-site craneage up to 400 tonnes capacity is augmented by rental cranes or lesser capacity as required.
