Over the years, Morterm has handled very large quantities of bulk cargoes from deep-sea ships.

Huge quantities of fluorspar (hundreds of thousands of tonnes), have been "clammed" from vessels and dispatched by trucks through some very tight windows of time for delivery to a local chemical processing plant, using discharge rates that exceed competitive standards and twelve hour "straight time" days.

More recently Morterm has discharged substantial quantities of bulk sugar (which requires warehousing), and Morterm has experience in handling other bulk commodities such as salt, calcium chloride and fertilizer.
